Hansika Motwani bor in Mangalore , india.
Family- pradeep motwani is businessman, Seema motwani a dermatologist. She has an elder brother, Prashant.
Education- Hansika attended international school of Mumbai .
Hansika can speak English hindi and tulu , here native tounge is sindhi.
Career in acting- She began her television career with a serial called Shaka Laka Boom Boom , a story about a boy named Sanju and his magic pencil. She has appeared in many TV serials, for example 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thee', 'Hum 2 Hai Na', 'Desh Me Nikla Hoga Chand', 'Shakalaka Boom Boom', 'Celebrity Fame Gurukool', and 'Tum Bin' as a child artiste. She also appeared as such in several TV commercials (e.g. Pepsi, Samsung, Hyundai Santro TV, and Bournvita).
She also appeared as one of the children in Koi Mil Gaya with Preity Zinta and Hrithik Roshan.
Movies-Hansika made her debut in a lead role in Puri Jagannadh's Telugu film, Desamuduru, starring opposite Allu Arjun. The film was about a crime reporter who falls in love with a sanyasini, played by Hansika.
Hansika made her debut as a leading actress in Bollywood with Himesh Reshammiya in Aap Kaa Surroor – The Real Luv Story. She played the role of Himesh Reshammiya's lover Ria. The film was released on 29 June 2007 and was a moderate hit. She will also appear in the Hindi film titled He: The Only One, where she will be essaying the role of a killer, hell-bent on taking revenge for her family.
Hansika made her Kannada debut in Bindaas with Puneet Rajkumar. The film was released on 15 February 2008. She paired with Jr. NTR in the film Kantri, which was released in May 2008. The film was a moderate hit. She made her Tamil film debut in the 2011 film Mappillai opposite Dhanush, following which her next Tamil film Engeyum Kadhal opposite Jayam Ravi released. Her next film Velayudham alongside Vijay was a box-office success. Her role as a village belle in the film received a lot of positive reviews. She is currently working on Oru Kal Oru Kannadi with Udhayanidhi Stalin.
Hansika says- "Mom allowed me to become an actor on the condition that I would continue with my studies. So that's exactly what I'm doing. I'm only too happy to be a graduate now!"
